ISOPARTNER Office Refurbishment, North Shields

Many office refurbishments don’t have the luxury of a blank canvas.

In our refurbishment of the ISOPARNTER offices in North Shields, we were tasked with creating a workspace that supports daily operations, impresses clients and allows space for future expansion all within the existing office space. The client envisioned this location as their flagship site and needed the space to accommodate their team effectively.

We were tasked with reconfiguring the office spaces to accommodate an open plan workspace, additional meeting rooms and boardrooms across the two floors. These areas required renovation with new tiles, flooring, sanitaryware, air conditioning and ventilation, and three new kitchen areas.

We determined that an open-plan workspace with designated meeting rooms would work best for the team’s needs. To bring the space to life, we implemented biophilic design elements such as maximising natural light. Abercrombies Interior Design incorporated designated spaces for plants and a warm, natural colour palette to complete the biophilic theme.

A main constraint in this project was that we were working within an existing building. This presented some challenges such as uncovering some non-compliant construction from previous work by others, meaning we had to adjust our plans and resolve these issues. Despite these challenges, our team was able to solve any issues and complete the project to a high standard.

We provided a high-quality, cost-effective solution. To achieve this, we maximised the use of space to accommodate all office staff on the ground floor, allowing for future expansion onto the first floor when needed. The completed space is intelligently designed and expertly built. It supports the everyday employee experience while also providing an impressive space for client meetings.
